I took a risk, I started again, and I did it! This technique builds on the art of contouring, which has been a staple in the beauty industry for decades. It is used by plastic surgeons, make-up artists and aestheticians alike to achieve a beautiful, proportioned face. But what happens when the skin of the face is not uniform and we have to work with vitiligo spots?<\/div><\/div>
The answer is simple: contouring can help! Contouring with micropigmentation, a special form of medical tattooing, visually harmonises the face while naturally hiding vitiligo spots. As micropigmentation is not just a temporary make-up but a permanent tattoo, the pigments injected into the skin offer a long-lasting solution.<\/div><\/div>
The technique is to integrate the vitiligo patches with the non-vital areas of the skin in such a way that the overall appearance of the face is natural and balanced. By cleverly placing different shades of colour, different parts of the skin can be darkened or lightened. This not only highlights the features of the face, but also beautifully conceals spots of vitiligo. Darker shades add depth, while lighter shades highlight more pronounced areas such as the cheekbones or forehead.<\/div><\/div>
It is important to always take into account the individual characteristics of the face: its shape, its features and, of course, the location of the vitiligo spots. It is the art of contouring: the right colours and placement help to refine facial features and eliminate vitiligo spots. The end result is a natural, harmonious face with a more dramatic texture, while vitiligo remains almost invisible.<\/div><\/div>
