If you are interested in the profession, take our basic make-up tattooing course. From August 2022, you can only obtain a professional qualification from a licensed adult education institution. Our academy is one of the first to offer you this opportunity! We are convinced that in order for our students to truly learn the craft of different techniques, we dedicate time and attention to each area so that they gain a high level of knowledge not only in theory, but also in practice. It is also of paramount importance for us to recognise our students' strengths and areas where they need to improve. To do this, we need to dedicate adequate time to practise together and answer questions. The energy invested is invaluable and will pay off many times over during the make-up tattooist's career. For beginners, it is particularly important to have the opportunity to practise at home during the basic course. This focused learning and practice helps to develop a confident, professional attitude on which to build a solid foundation for learning further techniques.

Basic training techniques:

The basic make-up tattooing training focuses on three main make-up tattooing techniques (modules): lip tattooing, powder eyebrow tattooing and eyelid tattooing/eyelid contouring.
After the theoretical basics, we will practice on a latex surface and you can watch me do the technique. After you have practiced enough, you will work on a live model while I supervise your every move. You have nothing to fear, I will help and advise you throughout the instruction.

The education process:

250 hours of training, partly in our Budapest salon and partly by distance learning. Expected duration 5 months.

Theoretical education:

The training will be based on international make-up tattoo training technology. The course will be based on the manual and will be presented in a presentation with illustrations. In the meantime, feel free to ask questions and I will try to answer all of them in detail. Colour theory is an important part of theoretical education, which can be used in a logical and transparent way in a teaching system developed over many years of experience. Other important topics are: skin reactions to needle puncture, symmetry, pre-drawing, choosing the right pigments and needles, ideal shape, safety at work, business skills, marketing,...etc.

Practice and implementation: 

You can take the first steps at home, based on a workbook, followed by a consultation. Once you are familiar with the theory and practice of the technique, you can try it on latex and then on a live model. It is important that you practice on a latex surface during the basic training and then you can show your skills on a live model. I will monitor your work, give you useful advice and, if necessary, show you how to do it correctly. Successful work will be followed by a home exam to prepare you for the accredited exam for the official qualification. A state-approved certificate of completion will be issued. On request an internationally recognised BIOTEK diploma in English we can also issue you. A diploma ceremony and a photo session will conclude the training.
