Eyebrow tattoo

The natural effect tattoo

A make-up tattoo is one of the most widespread, best-known areas of. Correctly shaped eyebrows can give a beautiful frame to the face and can also magnify the eyes, so great emphasis should be placed on the design, as too strong lines, often too dark colours, chosen incorrectly, can give a striking grotesque result to the face of the guest. My aim is not to do this, but to slightly accentuate the existing brow arch or to fill in the missing part to the optimum shape, thus perfecting the beauty of the face. When tattooing eyebrows, a natural effect is important. At Melinda Gáspár, powder, thread, hyper-realistic and combinations are available. Feel free to choose eyebrow tattooing as a great way to save time in the morning!

About eyebrow tattoo techniques

There are several techniques available for eyebrow tattooing, and I can safely say that every lady with eyebrow problems can find the best solution for her.

There are cases where the entire eyebrow is missing, whether it is due to a bad old brow plucking habit, an accident, or simply due to age.

We only create natural eyebrows that look deceptively similar to the original. The colour is always decided by our colleague, as we only use a colour that matches the colour of the eyebrow hairs!

Eyebrow tattoo update

It's important to know that updating and repairing old, greyed out, purple tattoos is a bit more complicated and requires more expertise, in this case we use specifically corrective colours to fix the brows. With repair colours, I achieve good results in the long term, so you can skip the expensive, dangerous and lengthy laser tattoo removal. The durability is not 3-5 years, but about 1 - 1.5 years, after which it will probably be necessary to refresh the colour.

Eyebrow tattoo removal

In many cases, however, the correction is pointless because the old tattoo has become too discoloured or distorted, in which case we recommend tattoo removal. In our salon, quality German Pigment-Off Remover system, which is the gentlest, yet most effective tattoo removal treatment available today. You can read more about it here: botched eyebrow tattoo removal.

Optional techniques for eyebrow tattooing:

  • threaded eyebrow tattoo (hyper-realistic eyebrow tattoo): one of the most popular threaded brow tattooing methods today, for the most natural effect possible. A good choice for those who want a more characterful, thicker, yet very natural looking finish without the noticeable tattooing of part of their brows. The idea is to add new tattooed strands to the existing brow strands for a thicker, wider effect. This type of eyebrow tattooing is primarily recommended for those who have not had a tattoo before.
  • powder effect eyebrow tattoo: this type of tattoo is similar to the classic eyebrow tattooing we've all known for a long time, but it's a reimagined, innovative solution. It's as if the brows have been drawn out and framed with powdered powder, making it a good choice for those who prefer a more pronounced, yet not satin felt-tip brow effect, and who want a more natural look and more durability. A suitable powder effect brow can also be done with a gradual saturation, which gives a soft yet spectacular brow arch.
  • their combination: the hybrid eyebrow tattoo method combines the two techniques mentioned above - threading and powder. You get both a characterful yet soft, natural look to your brows by not only getting thin tattooed threads but also by using the powdering technique. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to prepare and has a virtually infinite number of variations. It is a good choice for those who have thinner eyebrows or have a previous brow tattoo that has fallen out.

Frequently asked questions about eyebrow tattooing

Will I have my eyebrow tattoo forever?

The eyebrow tattoo lasts for about 1-1.5 years, but this depends on the skin, after which it may be necessary to refresh the colour and renew the eyebrow tattoo.

How many sessions will I need?

The price always includes two treatments, but the correction is not always necessary.

What kind of eyebrow tattoo suits who?

It is difficult to predict. Whether a client prefers a powder eyebrow tattoo or a threaded eyebrow tattoo is always decided by individual needs and the shape of the face.

Is there a difference between skin types when it comes to tattoos?

Yes. For oily skin, the best technique is powder, a threaded technique will not look as nice as on normal skin. This is why we always recommend the most suitable technique for our guests.

Will my two eyebrows look the same?

Our focus is always on naturalness, so we also follow the natural unevenness of the brows in our thread and powder brow tattoos for the most beautiful effect.

Will it hurt?

It can be minimally painful, but it depends on the individual's pain tolerance. We use modern machines and techniques, and the pigment is absorbed quickly into the skin, so there is minimal pain. If necessary, anaesthetic preparations are used.

My eyebrow tattoo was too dark. What should I do?

Not to worry, during the healing period after the tattoo is done, the tattoo will appear darker. In the days after the treatment, the colour will soften and after a week, it will reach a natural enough effect.

Elsewhere, they ruined my eyebrow tattoo. Can it be corrected?

This always requires consultation. Because if there is a misshapen shape or an inappropriate choice of colour, removal is always recommended. If the old eyebrow tattoo has been properly removed, we can cover it.

Are tattoos made by hand or by machine?

The powder technique is made with a machine unit, while the fibre technique can be made with either a machine or a manual technique.

What can I expect during the recovery process?

The healing time also depends on the skin, some people heal faster, others slower. It usually takes 7-14 days to heal completely. In the first few days, the eyebrows will darken due to oxidation and then gradually fade -10-20%
