We have just finished our first professional make-up tattooing day, and it was a great pleasure for us to see so many of you interested and curious about the event. We hope to meet more of you at the next professional day.
The Hungarian semi-final of the first international make-up tattoo competition was successfully held this weekend. So, in conjunction with the professional day, we held the Wulop semi-final awards ceremony.
The professional group of make-up tattoo artists and make-up tattoo product distributors, established in January, organised the first Sminktetováló professional day on 17 September. The speakers shared a lot of information that is essential for make-up tattooists.
Our aim is to create a comprehensive, well-regulated profession in this country. We want to take the future of make-up tattooing to a higher level, to enable a continuous flow of information and to bring colleagues together for a common goal. We have achieved that in Hungary, the make-up tattoo has become a separate profession, building on the cosmetician training.
We would like to see a uniform system for make-up tattooing, for example, hygiene protocol, consent form.
That's why we thought we'd give you a report on these interesting topics. Of course, anyone who is a member of the Sminktetattooers professional group has the opportunity to give a presentation of a professional nature.
More, about the presentations
The first speaker of the professional day was Melinda Gáspár, the president of the professional working group of the Make-up Tattooists, who welcomed the participants and gave a guide for the future, about the general requirements of good hygiene, which should be much more emphasized in a make-up tattoo salon.
Zsanett Gubicza Vörös, Director of Education and Training of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented the new programme requirements, how the make-up tattooing profession will change, both in education, training and entitlements.
Alexandra Patkós gave a presentation on the concept of marketing, how important it is and to what extent we need to apply this knowledge and tool to be able to succeed in the business world.
Gina Wolf, vice-president of the professional working group, briefly explained the importance of the signing declaration, which is an indispensable document in a make-up tattoo artist's salon. It must be signed by the client before any service begins, protecting and saving yourself from a lot of complaints and headaches.
In Edina Siska's summary, we learned about the specific improvement guidelines that are most recommended for a given area for a given problem. What is acceptable and what is not? Coverage? Laser? Chemical removal? Repairs A-Z!
The presentation of Mónika Vámos emphasized the consideration of contraindications, that it is a huge responsibility to prepare a make-up tattoo and we must be able to recognize the elementary lesions, diseases, skin condition, mental state, special situations, in which the make-up tattoo can not be done! In all cases, this is the responsibility of the tattoo artist, not the guest!
With the presentation of Dr.Mónika Richlach, GDPR expert and lawyer, we gained insight into the legal aspects of reference images.
The GDPR is a general data protection regulation that is quite important in our profession. A good example is that no image can be legally used without the written consent of the guest.
A super, exciting and eventful weekend, thank you very much to all the speakers and those who participated in the professional day. We look forward to growing in numbers over time, with a concerted effort to make this beautiful profession flourish.
If you would like to join, please feel free to contact us, as members of the Sminktetattooers professional group will be able to get first-hand information about the changes.
