It's fantastic to be able to help people so much in my charity work and to be able to do such a precise job helping people in need. Coming across tragic situations and helping those who have been through some kind of trauma is certainly difficult. But it is a great strength, not only for me, but also for my client, who can see his or her new self in the mirror.
To be able to help my guest make the transition to a new life with a make-up tattoo/medical tattoo is a really great feeling for me. My patient was the victim of a wood-burning boiler explosion, which caused serious with burns ended with. The psychological trauma was almost beyond comprehension. However, she was involved in my charity programme and I was given a special job to do. Treating the damage to his face and tattooing it back to the original lip colour so that he could be happy with his appearance again, really made a huge difference and gave him hope. My work of this nature gives people the opportunity to start afresh and regain confidence after suffering.
Charitable activities like this do not only mean a lot to the people involved. They also benefit the community as a whole by having a positive impact on people's lives and the world around them.
I hope that in my work I will be able to help and give hope to many more people who have lost their faith, but through me and my charitable work a new world can open up for them.
